February 2016's Games with Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360 revealed

Microsoft has announced February's lineup of free Games with Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360. As always, two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games are offered; however, thanks to the new(ish) backward compatibility feature, all four are actually playable on Xbox One. So what do Xbox LIVE Gold members have to look forward to next month?

Hand of Fate ($19.99 ERP): Available from February 1-29 on Xbox One

hand of Fate combines deck-building, tarot cards, choose-your-own-adventure, brawling, and role-playing elements all along with a bizarre and memorable narrator/villain.

Styx: Master of Shadows ($29.99 ERP): Available from February 16-March 15 on Xbox One

A more traditional gameplay explore, Styx: Master of Shadows turns you into the titular goblin Styx as he attempts to infiltrate the heavily fortified Tower of Akenash and steal the Heart of the World. However, in doing so, he discovers not only the hidden secrets of magic and the world he's in, but also his own origins. The game's emergent puzzles make use of Styx's varied abilities, including stealth, invisibility, and cloning.

Sacred Citadel ($9.99 ERP): Available from February 1-15 on Xbox 360

A brawler set in the medieval world of Sacred, this three-player co-op game offers plenty of enemies to take down and plenty of loot to obtain.

Gears of War 2 ($19.99 ERP): Available from February 16-29 on Xbox 360

Probably the most recognizable game of the the batch, Gears of War 2 is the second installment in Epic's iconic Gears of War franchise. Gears of War 2 puts you back in the armored shoes of Marcus Fenix as he, Dom, Santiago, and the other members of Delta Squad take the fight to the Locust army and battle their way into the depths of Sera to strike at the heart of the enemy.

Remember you still have time to download the remaining Games with Gold for January.
