English lyric translations are coming to Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd

The phenomenon that is Hatsune Miku is not one I’m ever sure I’ll ever fully comprehend. Don’t get me wrong, I get it, and I’m absolutely impressed with this sort of technology – it’s just, I can’t put my finger on it. Regardless, she’s back! In case you can’t get enough, she brought along a 40 song track list, mostly in English. SEGA will be showing off their blue haired vixen off at the Anime Expo in LA for the first time ever with these tracks.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd has 20 classic that were previously only in the Japan-only PSP version. Their debut in the West are accompanied with 20 brand new songs. Over all, we’re looking at over 80 tracks new, old, and remade from fan favorites. The gameplay will include both cross save compatability, Markerless AR Mode (Vita), and a revamped edit mode.

“We are proud to finally announce this herculean translation project to bring Hatsune Miku fans English lyric translations,” said John Cheng, President and COO, SEGA of America. “We worked closely with our partners in Japan and the artists to ensure that the lyrical intent of the original Japanese is maintained so our non-Japanese speaking fans can better understand the meaning and context of the amazing world of Hatsune Miku.”

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is planned to come out Fall of this year on the PS3, Vita, and marketplace.
