Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PC Requirements Revealed
After being bombarded with fan requests for the PC requirements for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, VP of Marketing and PR at Bethesda Pete Hines, has finally give the fans what they asked for. Announced on his Twitter account, Hines shared the minimum and recommended PC requirements required to run the heavily anticipated Skyrim. Below are the PC specs that he tweeted, but he did mention that Bethesda will be posting full details on PC specs (and some console info) on the blog shortly.
Minimum PC Requirements
- Win XP/7/Vista (32 or 64 bit)
- dual core 2GB
- 2GB RAM
- DX9c video card w/ 512MB RAM
- Internet Access for Steam activation
Recommended PC Requirements
- Win XP/7
- quad-core Intel/AMD CPU
- 4GB RAM, 6GB HD
- DX compat snd card
- DX9 vid card w/ 1 GB
- GTX 260/Radeon 4890 or higher
Pete Hines confirmed on revealed on Twitter, "The Min specs get you playing. The recommended specs let you play on High, not on Ultra. You'll want beefier rig for that."
