Face-Off for the Opportunity to Rock on MTV at This Week’s Inaugural Video
Game Event

IDG World Expo today
announced that the widely successful Rock Band™ mobile tour will be making
its next stop at the upcoming Entertainment for All™ Expo (E for All™) (www.EforAllExpo.com),
scheduled for October 18-21, 2007, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The coast-to-coast tour, sponsored by music-based games developer Harmonix,
MTV Games and distribution partner Electronic Arts (EA), gives consumers the
opportunity to experience the highly anticipated Rock Band video game before
its debut in November.

During all four exhibition days, E for All
attendees will have the opportunity to become ultimate rock fans and budding
musicians as they participate in a “Rock Off” audition for an opportunity to
appear on MTV’s TRL. The Rock Band tour bus main-stage will provide aspiring
rock stars with the chance to jam like the best of them – putting their
guitar and gaming abilities to the test.

“We are thrilled to have the
Rock Band mobile tour on board for E for All,” said Mary Dolaher, CEO of IDG
World Expo. “E for All is all about the games and giving fans a chance to
test drive highly anticipated titles, and Rock Band is sure to be a hit with
our attendees.  And the concert element brings an exciting interactive
experience to the E for All show floor.”

In addition to their on-site
plans, aspiring rockers will have the chance to participate in a nationwide
casting call through MTV’s Rock Band “Rock Off” events.  Performers brave
enough to play on the Rock Band tour bus main-stage will be captured on
video and viewed by MTV casting directors. Two bands will be chosen and
flown to New York City to spend a day with a real rock band and receive true
rock star training.

The auditions will culminate with the bands
rocking on-air on MTV’s TRL Rock Off event during Gaming Week
One band ultimately will be chosen to open on a real stage for a
yet-to-be-named band.
