Duke Nukem Forever Delayed
Did you see this one coming? Gearbox has announced that Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed, but not for too long. The release date has been pushed back to June 14 in North America and June 10 worldwide, so there's only a month difference from the original launch.
Randy Pitchford revealed the news in a bizarre video that's kind of awkward, but the studio compensates by apologizing and offering people a chance to beat them up—all in one video.
The delay gives you more time to decide whether you want to preorder the Balls of Steel edition, where you'll get "Duke’s Big Package" if your outlet of choice is GameStop and a Duke Nukem Forever trucker cap if you'd prefer to preorder through Wal-Mart.
Duke Nukem Forever has spent years in the making. It has already endured multiple delays and was almost canned at one point. At least this one isn't as catastrophic as the other setbacks, and it's probably for the best. After 15 years, nobody wants to get the next Duke Nukem wrong.
