DJ Hero 2 Pre-Order Hotness Revealed

Between DJ Hero 2, Rock Band 3, and Dance Central, rhythm music game lovers have a lot to look forward to this holiday. Activision just upped the ante with some new pre-order incentives for their upcoming turntable-enabled sequel: Amazon will be including two free DJ Hero 2 mixes in the form of MP3's for anyone who pre-orders the game between now and the game's release on October 19. Exclusive remixes of Deadmau5's "I Remember" and Kaskade's "Move for Me" are on the house, compliments of Amazon and Activision. Though, technically you're paying at least $60 for the game, so two 99 cent songs probably isn't quite as good as exclusive in-game characters, venues, or other miscellaneous content.

From Activision: "On October 19, living rooms will transform into nightclubs letting budding beat chemists, singing sensations and all of their friends party together by firing up two turntable controllers and a microphone to experience their favorite music as they’ve never heard it before in DJ Hero 2 – the follow-up to the #1 new videogame intellectual property of 2009, DJ Hero. Picking up where the award-winning DJ Hero soundtrack left off, DJ Hero 2 spins together the hottest tracks blazing up the charts and legendary club anthems from the biggest artists in pop, dance and hip hop including Dr. Dre, The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Metallica, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and over 85 others. Fueling the party will be a host of all-new social multiplayer game modes and innovative freestyle gameplay giving virtual DJ’s the ability to crossfade, scratch and sample in 83 speaker-blowing mashups from the hottest DJ’s and Producers around the world."

Head on over to Amazon's pre-order page for more details.
