Developer Warhorse to use CryENGINE 3 in upcoming RPG

Fans of the Mafia series? Perhaps you're more of an Operation Flashpoint fan? The creative minds behind both of those titles, some members from 2K Czech and some from Bohemia Interactive, formed to create Warhorse, a Prague based development studio.

The studio now closed a licensing deal to be able to use CryEngine 3 for its first game. It hasn't officially been announced yet, but executive producer Martin Klima stated:

We are confident it will allow us to make the vision for our game come true.

The team at Warhorse Studios consists of industry veterans from AAA classics such as the Mafia franchise and Operation Flashpoint," added Crytek's Carl Jones.

We're excited by their vision for an innovative RPG and we are looking forward to working with them to help them achieve that vision with CryENGINE 3.

Though we have no idea what kind of RPG this will be, whether it will be more action oriented, or turn-based, we can be sure that the storyline is sure to be top notch. If Mafia was any indication (and I'm definitely talking about the first game here) we should be excited for what this team is set to develop.
