As many of you are probably aware, Destiny's next expansion, House of Wolves, arrives today. It's scheduled to go live at 10:00am Pacific (1:00pm Eastern). But until then, you may have noticed that a number of activities in Destiny are currently disabled.
The Nightfall Strike, Weekly Heroic Strike, Daily Heroic Strike, and featured Crucible playlist are all disabled, and will remain unplayable until the arrival of House of Wolves (and update 1.2.0.1).
Bungie made note of this earlier this week, writing: "Consider it planned maintenance – or the calm before the storm! Those missing activities will be back when House of Wolves is live. There should be something for everyone."
Of course, House of Wolves will bring much more content into Destiny, including new weapons, armor and gear you can earn in new story missions, three new competitive multiplayer maps, the new cooperative Strike, The Prison of Elders cooperative end-game arena, and the Trials of Osiris Crucible event.
