Deep Silver confirms Metro Redux, but won't share details just yet

All Games Beta recently shared a leak regarding the release of Metro Redux on both PS4 and Xbox One. The new version would include both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light in one, conveient package for your new console. Because, you know, this is the it thing to do with previous-generation games.

Publisher Deep Silver has confirmed the leak in a statement to Joystiq. They confirmed that the game is real, but the images from All Games Beta were "taken from an old, internal planing presentation, containing some nuggets of truth bot a lot of hypothetical ideas and place holder material...we think the reality is a lot more exciting than the out-dated material that got leaked shows."

We'll learn more about Metro Redux in the future, but not yet. No yet. Maybe in two weeks at PAX East? If not then, then probably at E3. Not then? Well, there's always the chance they announce it on their own time.
