Dataminer uncovers a treasure trove of items hidden in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ code

54 of them in total.

A dataminer on Reddit has revealed his discovery of a host of unused in-game items for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds that presumably will be available in a later update. Among the items are a poison apple and a space marine suit, adding a whole new level of weird to the already unique shooter.

Here are a few of the screenshots.

Most of the 54 items are wearables, including some Goth-style spiky gloves and jackets as well as a military style hoodie and a summertime skirt. It's worth noting that there's no confirmation that these items will actually make it into the game, only that there are concepts for them to be in it.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has seen incredibly successful sales numbers since its Early Access launch and will be looking to add to it with its console exclusive launch on Xbox One. What we can say for sure is that there are a few Desert-themed maps that are in development and that the game's full release has been delayed to the end of Q4 2017.
