Dark Souls to punish PC gamers next

Dark Souls, the grueling spiritual successor to From Software's Demon's Souls, is coming to PCs in August.

According to the German magazine PC Action, the port — allegedly called the "Prepare to Die Edition" — features new bosses and will support controller use. Publisher Namco Bandai has scheduled a mystery announcement for this week that could possibly confirm the PC release.

Recently a Forbes writer defended the merits of Dark Souls against the criticisms of Slate. Do you think the brutally tough RPG deserves the praise?
