Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced the release of DanceDanceRevolution® S, now available in North America for the iPhone™ and iPod® Touch. With 26 songs and 18 playable characters, DanceDanceRevolution S allows players to perfect their dance moves with innovative new gameplay modes.

"After a decade as one of the most popular franchises in the music genre, DanceDanceRevolution has transcended from a classic videogame with an interactive dance mat, to an addicting title players can take with them wherever they go," said Anthony Borquez, Vice President of Konami Mobile and Online. "With the engaging, innovative and easy-to-pick-up-and-play mechanics, DanceDanceRevolution S is sure to be a hit among franchise fans and iPhone gamers alike."

In this addictive music rhythm game, players can choose from up to three gameplay modes, including Shake Mode, Game Mode, and Training Mode. In Shake Mode, players can utilize the Accelerometer to shake the device in the direction of the arrows. While DDR experts can go straight to the Game Mode featuring non-stop dance action to their song of choice, novices can get their DDR training wheels with basic lessons in the Training Mode. The Training Mode also allows players to grasp the tempo in the game with various tools, including a metronome. Accompanied by a soundtrack packed with both new and old tracks from past DDR titles and features unique to the iPhone and iPod Touch, no dance party is complete without DanceDanceRevolution S.
