D3Publisher of America Ships PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient 2 for the PSP

The logical first choice to kick off summer on-the-go gaming, PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient 2 from D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA), is available now in retail stores across North America for the suggested retail price of $29.95. In PQ2, players will calculate their intelligence by using the PQ scoring system based on the number of moves and the speed with which they complete more than 250 puzzles. Players will create their own puzzles and share them with friends utilizing the PSP system’s infrastructure mode, as well as take their score online to measure their brain power against their friends, their country and even their gender!

“As the sequel to the best-selling brain game on the PSP® system, PQ: Practical Intelligence Quotient™, PQ2 offer players new and enhanced features for even more intellectual achievement possibilities than before,” said Alison Quirion, vice president of marketing, D3PA. “The options to choose the order puzzles are played in and obtain a preliminary PQ score in roughly 10 minutes, among other features, offer enhanced control and interaction within the game.”

PQ2 uses a measuring system that was created under the guidance of Professor Masuo Koyasu of Kyoto University in Japan that determines players’ ‘Practical Intelligence Quotient’ or PQ. Players will create their own puzzles and share them using the PSP system’s infrastructure mode to upload puzzles or download new ones. Additionally, players can use the infrastructure mode to take their score online and measure their brain power among their friends, their country, their gender and even their blood type! A demo of the game can be shared with friends by utilizing the PSP system’s gamesharing mode. PQ2 includes 10 unlockable puzzles for gamers.

PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient 2 was developed by Nowproduction, Inc., and is rated “E” (Everyone) by the ESRB.
