Crytek teases upcoming console, PC announcement

Crytek is a busy company with a lot on its plate. The team is currently working on Homefront 2, Ryse, and several mobile titles, so one wouldn't imagine them focusing on anything else. Well, guess what, they are. According to a recent interview with CVG, Crytek's GM of games Nick Button-Brown confirmed that their studio is hard at work on a "triple-A console, PC title." In addition, the GM revealed that Crytek will be unveiling this game next month:

"It looks spectacular, the team are doing really, really well, and it's just really nice to see the team really enthusiastic about what they're doing. They're really happy."

The folks over at Crytek are overwhelmingly talented, and we're excited to hear about this upcoming game, despite little details...yet. All we can pray for is that this is a legit announcement, and not another April fools joke. Crytek wouldn't do that...would they? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below.
