Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo Hitting Consoles on March 1

Crysis 2 arrives on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in about a month, but if you're desperately in need of a sci-fi fix, Crytek is giving players the chance to demo the game starting March 1. The multiplayer demo features two modes and maps: Crash Site and Team Instant Action as well as Pier 17 and Skyline, respectively. The demo will come to Xbox 360 and PC on the aforementioned date of March 1, but PlayStation 3 owners have a longer wait in store, as Crytek has yet to release a statement regarding the exact launch date of the demo for Sony's console.

This will be the second demo Crytek has released for Crysis 2. Just last month, the developer launched a multiplayer demo for Xbox 360, and they have reportedly taken user suggestions and comments into account as they continued to work on the game.

Crytek 2 will officially launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 22. News sites and gaming magazines have already bestowed praise upon the game's mechanics, multiplayer modes and single-player campaign. If you're eager to play the game, download the demo for now and keep yourself distracted until March 22 is here.
