Gamers nowadays are somewhat spoiled when it comes to shooters. Back in the day, shooters were fast, insane, and didn't care about having infinite ammo for their handguns. That's why I enjoy the occasional Serious Sam and Painkiller game.

This weekend, you too can experience the fun and frantic Painkiller Hell & Damnation multiplayer for free! What can you do to take part in this? Nothing special, just download the game on Steam, play the multiplayer, and if you like it, buy it discounted by 66%. Simple!

  • Painkiller Hell & Damnation will have a free multiplayer weekend on Steam starting today.
  • Anybody, including those who don't own the game, can download and play certain parts of the game and if they like it, can buy it at a discount.
  • The global leaderboards will be reset tonight and the top 3 in Deathmatch as of Sunday will win prizes
  • The download link will pop up here very shortly.

“This is a great promotion that will give those who have not had a taste of Painkiller a good taste of all the fast paced gory action,” said Thomas Reisinger, Key Account Manager Online Sales at Nordic Games. “Demon slayers can slash their way through to a great discount that is great value for money.”

You'll be able to hop into modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Survival. Players will also be able to experience the entire first chapter of the Single Player campaign.
