Castle of Illusion pops up on international rating boards

The heralded Genesis classic Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse has popped up on a couple of international rating boards. These appearances on the Australian and Brazilian sites potentially indicate that the beloved 2D adventure may be available as a downloadable title.

Specifically, Castle of Illusion may see a re-launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Vita, and Wii U through those platforms' respective digital distribution shops. If you dug the game back in the day, chances are this is great news for you.

Disney Interactive recently published a spiritual successor to Castle of Illusion titled Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion. GameZone's own Lance Liebl was quite fond of it, though I had to trade it in the day after I played one hour of it due to sheer boredom. Ah, nothing like a good ol' mixed reaction.
