Black Desert Online developers reveal their plans for Gamescom 2016

New game systems and a sneak peak at the game's all new naval warfare

Gamescom 2016 is just around the corner and developers all around the world are gearing up for reveals and more public hands-on demonstrations. Kakao Games, developers of the massive MMO Black Desert Online have revealed their plans for the show and they want members of the public to get their hands on the game. 

The studio said in an official press release:

"Come experience the unreleased Class Awakening system, which enables high-level characters to unlock a completely different combat style using incredibly powerful Awakening Weapons. Only just gotten started on your Black Desert Online adventure, or not yet stepped into the world of Valencia? Our developers and community staff will be on site to help you learn the ropes, from mastering the character creation system to taking down fierce enemies."

Kakao games will also be hosting tournaments featuring 5v5 PvP tournaments that will be held on the main stage with prizes for the winners. If competition isn't your thing, you can still check out Black Desert Online's new content on one of 82 high-end PC's that the developers will have set up.

Members of the press will also be checking out the game's all-new naval combat, but there is currently no timetable when it will be available to the masses. 

Gamescom 2016 will be held in Cologne, Germany and will run from August 18th to the 21st.
