Bethesda launches the Creation Club page for Skyrim: Special Edition
'A collection of all-new game content for Skyrim: Special Edition.'
Despite the backlash, Bethesda is moving forward with the Creation Club (as we knew they would), as they attempt to find a middle ground between DLC and mods. The company recently launched the Creation Club page for Skyrim on Steam, revealing the pricing options for credits which are used to purchase items in the store.
The official description of the Creation Club for Skyrim: Special Edition doesn't say much, just that it is "a collection of all-new game content for Skyrim Special Edition" that is "fully curated and compatible" with the game.
Here's a breakdown of the pricing:
Skyrim SE - 750 CC Credits - $7.99
Skyrim SE - 1500 CC Credits - $14.99
Skyrim SE - 3000 CC Credits - $24.99
Skyrim SE - 5500 CC Credits - $39.99
Naturally, you get more bang for your buck the more you choose to spend; it's just whether or not you value the content enough to dive right in. Since Bethesda is confident enough in the program to move forward with it, the only question remaining is whether fans will see enough value to drop the cash.
Your move Skyrim fans.
