The summer version of Cyber Monday is here! Amazon has officially begun its annual mega sale known as Prime Day. Prime Day 2019 brings a host of discounts on a number of things such as computers, TVs, video games, movies, and an excess of other random items.
All you have to do to be eligible is already have an Amazon Prime account or sign up for a 30-day free trial! With that said, we’ve rounded up some of the best deals on hot video games, TVs, gaming computers, and more. You can sort through the deals by section below.
We won’t be keeping up to date with the lightning deals as they come and go so quickly but we will feature the non-lightning Prime Day deals.
Amazon Fire Sticks
The Amazon Fire Stick turns any TV into a Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, and other various apps. If you don’t already own one, there are several fantastic deals to take advantage of and you most definitely should.
The standard 1080p Fire Stick with Alexa remote is listed at $14.99 (normally $39.99) but if you want 4K capabilities you can get a 4K Fire Stick for $24.99 (normally $49.99). Once you have your Fire Stick, we highly recommend downloading the Sega Classics app for $4.99.
The Sega Classics app features a number of great Sega titles ranging from Sonic the Hedgehog to Streets of Rage and more. All these games can be played with the regular Fire TV remote or you can hook up a third-party bluetooth controller to have a better gaming experience.
4K Televisions
4K TVs are becoming more and more normal but that doesn’t mean they’re cheap. With 4K games and films becoming more and more popular, you’ll naturally want the best entertainment experience. You can find some great budget 4K TVs as well as top of the line ones on sale today with Prime Day.
One of the best TV manufacturers is Sony who has two TVs on sale. For those looking for a more modest screen, you can get a 43′ Sony KD43X750F 4K LED TV with HDR for just $379.99 (normally $599.99).
If you’re looking to go big, you can get a 70-inch Sony X830F 4K LED TV with HDR for $799.99 (normally $1,047.00). At the time of writing, there’s currently a waitlist for this TV but keep an eye on it and it may open back up.
If you want to go even BIGGER and have money burning a hole in your pocket, LG has a massive 86-inch LG 86UM8070PUA 4K LED TV with Dolby Vision and AI technology. This TV is discounted at $2,196.99 (normally $3,299.00) and would likely make a fine display for any would-be home theater.
Finally, those good ol’ budget TVs. They might not be top of the line but they’ll still offer a credible 4K experience. Toshiba and Insignia are offering 4K TVs at $250 – $340 with up to $100 in savings. On the slightly higher end of budget TVs, TCL has 4K TVs at over 50% off from $210 – $250.
Video Game Console and VR Deals
If you’re looking to get into VR, the HTC VIVE Pro Starter Kit is $200 off, making it a cheaper $899.99!
For those looking to get a new console, there are a number of bundles with great deals. Nintendo Switch is still at its standard $299.99 but includes a free $35 eShop card during the Prime Day sale period.
If you’re dying to play The Last of Us 2, Death Stranding, or some of the already released critically acclaimed titles but don’t own a PS4, now’s your chance. The PS4 Slim is listed for $249.99 with copies of Spider-Man and Horizon: Zero Dawn bundled in, two of the best titles on the console.
If you want a better performing console, the PS4 Pro is $349.99 and comes bundled with copies of Days Gone and the 2018 game of the year winner, God of War. You can’t go wrong with either bundle and regardless of which one you pick, all four games are on sale on their own.
