Battlefield 3 gameplay designer Alan Kertz leaves dev team

Battlefield 3 core gameplay designer Alan Kertz announced yesterday that he is "moving on from BF3".  Kertz, who is one of the most open developers, has always been candid and active in sharing his thoughts and ideas about Battlefield 3 updates and weapon balance changes with his fans via Twitter.

Fans will now have to take up their questions and concerns with Gustav Halling and Tim Kjell who are now handling Battlefield 3's gameplay design.

For those wondering, Alan Kertz is not actually leaving DICE.  Rather, he's moving on from the team to presumably work on a new project - hopefully a sequel to Battlefield 3 (Maybe Battlefield 2143?).
