Batman: Arkham Origins adds the slippery little snake, Copperhead

Copperhead has been announced as one of the eight assassins that will attempt to bring down Gotham and kill Batman in Warner Bros. highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Origins.

As you can see in the trailer the assassin is loosely based on DC's New 52 re-imagination of the villain. In an effort to add more female characters to the roster, Warner Bros. decided to make her human again.

The trailer shows the snake-like Copperhead escaping interrogation and attacking Batman with her poisoned claws. It was said that  three motion-capture performers, including a martial artist and Cirque du Soleil performer, were needed to create the scene. Check out the trailer above and be sure to tune in to GameZone for all the latest San Diego Comic-Con news.

Batman: Arkham Origins is currently development for the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U, and slated for release on October 25, 2013.
