Atlus updates Game of Thrones website, publishes Facebook page
Publisher Atlus has updated the Game of Thrones video game website with the new "Castlewood" section, one of the areas exclusive to the upcoming RPG that gamers can explore. Also available on the site are the "Riverspring" and "The Wall" subpages. "King's Landing" is still locked and off limits to the public.
The "Castlewood" page reveals information about Active Slowdown Tactical Combat and contains Quest 5: "Who rules the Riverlands during the reign of King Robert Baratheon?"
Situated on the banks of the Blackwater in the Riverlands, Castlewood is the prosperous seat of House Harlton, bannermen to the Tullys. Arwood Harlton became the lord of Castlewood after his brother was executed by Hoster Tully for the treasonous act of siding with the Targaryens during Robert's Rebellion.
An official Facebook page also went live today. There Atlus plans to post concept art, notes from the development process, special assests from the game, and more for fans.
Game of Thrones the video game is scheduled for release on May 15 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It's being developed by Cyanide and is based on the series of epic fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R.R. Martin.
