Angry Birds is Disgustingly Successful
It must be nice to be Rovio, the Finland-based developer responsible for mobile app sensation Angry Birds.
To date, the game has sold approximately seven million copies via iTunes where it has reigned supreme for the past several months. The app recently launched for Android where it reported one million downloads on its first day of release.
Unlike the iOS version, Angry Birds is available for free on the Android due to in-game ad support. And it broke two millions units downloaded this week. And it's a lot of fun. And someone now owns a private jet built out of orphans because of it.
