Amazon won’t let non-Prime members buy certain games

So, now we are dealing with Prime Exclusive games?

When it comes to pre-ordering games or outright buying them, Amazon has become one of the easiest methods of getting your hands on a product. Unfortunately for gamers, it appears as though Amazon is locking video games behind the Amazon Prime paywall.

According to VideoGamer, the $99 a year paywall has apparently made the PS4 versions of GTA 5, Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin's Creed Syndicate, along with the PS4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 16, Far Cry Primal, Battlefield Hardline exclusive to Prime members.

"One of the many benefits of Amazon Prime is access to exclusive selection on a number of great products," said an Amazon representative in a statement to VideoGamer. "Customers who are not Prime members can sign-up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, or they can purchase those items from a Marketplace seller."

Whether Amazon will continue to spread its reach to make other games exclusive has not yet been revealed.

Note: This only effects the games sold by Amazon – not third-party sellers.
