Alawar Entertainment announces the release of Sprill & Ritchie: Adventures in Time

Alawar Entertainment, one of the world's leading publishers of casual games, announces the release of "Sprill & Ritchie: Adventures in Time". The thrilling sci-fi adventure game continues the line of popular hidden object offerings from the company and is a sequel to "Sprill: The Mystery of The Bermuda Triangle".

A pearl found in the Bermuda Triangle turned out to be an alien artifact of immense power that could be used for building a real time machine. Ritchie, Sprill's ingenious but extravagant friend, used the pearl to run a risky series of experiments, jeopardizing the universe and sending various modern day items back to the times of Roman emperors and Egyptian pharaohs.

On a quest to restore balance and find the lost items, Sprill travels back to ancient Greece and Rome, walks the narrow streets of the Egyptian capital and fights a giant squid. He then jumps forward to the far-off future.

The plot of "Sprill & Ritchie" is packed with mystery and surprises, making it difficult for the player to predict the next twist. In addition, the game features dozens of visually stunning locations, addictive mini-games and plenty of items to find. The search for objects is anything but easy as the artists of Alawar Five-BN used several clever and innovative techniques to conceal the items the player must uncover.

Kirill Plotnikov, vice president of publishing at Alawar, says "Sprill & Ritchie" was a large-scale project in every respect, from the amount of content the game contains to the massive effort the company invested in it.

"The game features tons of animated cutscenes and the gameplay is quite unique," he says. "We focused on developing addictive mini-games, logical puzzles and a captivating story with humorous dialogue. Sprill and Ritchie are nothing less than hilarious and crack jokes all the time. I believe players will enjoy the time they spend with these two charming cut-ups."
