SCI-FI ADVENTURE GAME, SANITY: AIKEN’S ARTIFACT, GOES GOLD

Rapper/Actor Ice T Lends Voice To Lead Character

LOS ANGELES, CA – (August 3, 2000) – Fox Interactive today announced that the highly anticipated, Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact, has “gone gold” and will ship to retail stores nationwide as early as the end of September. The game is developed by Seattle-based developer, Monolith Productions.

Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact is a 3^rd person story-driven adventure game featuring the voice talent of actor and music rapper, Ice T, as the lead character Agent Cain.  Set in the science-fiction, fantasy world of the future, the game unravels the story of Agent Cain -- a powerful Psionic on a secret mission to save mankind from the consortium of rogue Psionics.

The title is a Talent-based game, in which players collect Talents or Psionic weapons to defeat their enemies.  Additionally, players must bring the rogue Psionics to justice by infiltrating secret drug labs, exploring demon-infested catacombs and even participating in a sick and twisted game show.

Key features in the game include:

• Over 20 story-driven, single-player levels using spectacular graphics and special effects within enormous environments

• 10 levels of addictive multiplayer action for up to 8 players with 3 modes of Deathmatch: Unlimited Deck, Limited Deck, and Empty Deck

• Proprietary LithTech 3D Engine in a free-floating, isometric perspective

• Starring the lead character voice of Grammy Award-winner, renowned music rapper and performer, Ice T

• Features a sizzling new single from Ice T’s Body Count titled “Sanity”

• 8 Totems (Fighting Styles) and over 80 Talents (Psionic Weapons)

In an industry-first partnership deal announced last week, Fox Interactive and RealNetworks^® Inc. team up to put the Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact game demo exclusively on the new expanded game site on www.real.com/games.  Utilizing the broad reach of the Internet, the demo also offers gamers exclusive Talents, which can be purchased at RealNetworks^® Inc.’s expanded game site, www.real.com/games.  The new Talents include Sawblade, a deadly spinning saw blade, and Sanity Drain, a power that creates a swirling vortex of chaotic energy that will drain the sanity of any living thing.  The Combo Talent Pack, which includes 10 unique Talents and is priced at $9.95, can be used in multiplayer levels of the full version game.
