FOX INTERACTIVE GIVES PLAYERS A SNEAK PREVIEW OF SANITY: AIKEN’S ARTIFACT

Demo Levels of Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact and Exclusive Talent Pack Available on Real.com

LOS ANGELES, Calif., July 31, 2000 – Continuing to build excitement around its upcoming PC game, Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact, Fox Interactive today announced the release of a game demo on Real.com™.  The demo is available on RealNetworks^®, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: RNWK) expanded game site, www.real.com/games, and includes 2 single player levels, 2 multiplayer levels and the opportunity to purchase a Talent Pack which includes ten exclusive Talents for $9.95.

Talents are Psionic weapons that players can use within the game to defeat their opponents.  There are a variety of visually stunning and deadly Talents including the Sawblade which is a hurling spinning deadly saw blade and the Sanity Drain which creates a swirling vortex of chaotic energy that will drain the sanity of any living thing.  The Talent Pack can be used in multiplayer levels of the full version game.

Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact is a 3^rd-person story-driven action/adventure game in a science-fiction, fantasy setting that unravels the story of Agent Cain -- a Psionic on a secret mission to save mankind from the consortium of rogue Psionics.  The title is a Talent-based game, in which players collect several Talents or Psionic weapons to defeat their enemies.  

Sanity: Aiken’s Artifact features the voice talent of music rapper, Ice-T as Agent Cain.  The game is developed by Seattle-based developer, Monolith Productions, and will be available in stores Fall 2000.
