Let’s be honest, 343 Industries may have one of the most challenging tasks at hand than any other developer out there. After taking over the Halo series from Bungie, the team is already hard at work on Halo 4, a series that has been the Xbox’s prized gem for over a decade. 343 isn’t going at it alone though, as the group has hired three notably known designers to work on the upcoming game.
Jason Behr is the first notable designer hired by 343 to help on Halo 4. You may know Mr. Behr from the Metro Prime series, or from his work with Nintendo and Monolith. Behr’s old co-worker, Kynan Pearson, is also joining him to work on the game. Pearson has been apart of every Metro Prime game, equalling seven years of work.
Lastly, and probably the most notable, is Chris Haluke. Haluke was the lead designers at Guerilla Games which is most known for Killzone 3. His talents have also been used in the Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell series.
We already know that 343 is a very talented group of people; Bungie wouldn’t have handed down the Halo name to just anyone. But now the developer is looking to turn its team into the Miami Heat of video games with three talented designers on board. Unlike the Miami Heat, though, hopefully 343 will deliver a “championship” with Halo 4.
