It started in 1996 and it's still going strong. Year after year people have come together to celebrate and play in the Bring-Your-Own-Computer (BYOC) LAN Party. I'm talking about QuakeCon here.
Next year will be the 20th anniversary of QuakeCon, so be prepared for a huge shindig! QuakeCon 2015 will be a four-day long festival filled with panels/presentations, tournaments, game presentations, contests. the largest BYOC LAN Party (ever) and so much more!

The event itself will take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas — if you're quick enough you can call (1-800-445-8667) the Hilton Anatole or head over to the website and make a reservation. If you mention you're there for QuakeCon, you'll get a fixed price of $164 per night.
