Metro Redux review round-up

In 2010 we saw Metro 2033, in 2013 we saw Metro: Last Light and come next week we will see them bundled up and remastered in Metro: Redux

While the release date isn't set until August 26th, we are already seeing reviews pop up around the web for the remastered collection.

What does the internet thing of it? This, this is what they think:

Gamespot

It's that ebb and flow, that movement in and out of danger, and the panic you feel when danger finds you even when you think you should be most at peace, that makes Metro Redux such an excellent tour through the best and worst of a society in ruins.

8/10

On the whole, Metro Redux is a convincing refresh that not only rejigs some of the ageing mechanics, but offers an underrated series in an extremely attractive package. We can't wait for the third entry, but this is an excellent return trip to the Metro in the meantime...Even if you've played both games and all the DLC, the 2033 update alone is worth your time.

If you've already experienced it then the new visuals are reason enough to return

9/10

PC Gamer

4A has revisited every aspect of 2033, evident in the improved lighting and weather effects, the expanded environments, added secrets or even the addition of some of Metro: Last Light’s better features, like weapon customisation.

So is it worth buying again? Absolutely.

We're workin' on it!

There aren't that many reviews to pull from out there, I took the ones in English and from sites that you might know. So far, 8.5/10 seems to be the average.

Are you going to play Metro Redux? Let me know!
