E3 2014: From the makers of Serious Sam comes first-person puzzler The Talos Principle

Publisher Devolver Digital has added The Talos Principle, a philosophical first-person puzzler from Croteam, developer of Serious Sam, to their Indie Games Roster of Awesomeness.

“[The Talos Principle] tasks players with solving a series of increasingly difficult and complex puzzles – all woven into an overarching metaphysical parable about intelligence and meaning in an inevitably doomed world,” a statement from Devolver reads. “Solve more than 120 puzzles through the eyes of an advanced AI construct and unveil your significance at the behest of your creators.”

The Talos Principle is developed with Serious Engine 4T, which “allows real-world locations and historical elements [to] be scanned into the game world,” and penned by Tom Hubert, best known for his work on FTL: Faster Than Light and The Swapper

Devolver also added Titan Souls to their indie roster, an action title set in a world between worlds. “On a quest for truth and power, you are armed with but a single arrow and whatever courage you have left to take down the titans hidden amongst the ruins," the published added.

Broforce and Not A Hero made an appearance as well, developed by Free lives and Roll7 respectively. All games will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but no hard release dates have been announced. We’ll update you with more information as it surfaces.
