You hear that? Do ya feel that!? That's the sound of the thunderous Ferarri F12 Berlinetta as it tears down a track in Driveclub, Sony's upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive from Evolution Studios. The new video, the first of Sony's "4TheSenses" series, shows off a new benchmark in automotive audio capture.
"The team at Evolution Studios used a new technique with16 synchronised microphones in a variety of locations across the car to truly capture the melodic and husky sounds of the 6.3 litre Ferrari V12 engine," Sony explained. "This unparalleled level of detail gives you the best high resolution audio experience of the beautiful Ferrari F12 Berlinetta."
Driveclub will be released on October 7, 2014 exclusively for PlayStation 4. A PS Plus Edition of the game will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the same day. Though the PS Plus Edition does have some limitations, you can upgrade to the full retail version for $50.
