Both next-gen consoles have touted the ability to stream players' gameplay however only the PlayStation 4 was actually able to deliver on its promise on day one. Though the Twitch app was available on the Xbox One, players could only watch other players stream gameplay, and not stream themselves. This changes on March 11.

Twitch has officially announced that come March 11, which also happens to be the launch day of Titanfall, Xbox One consoles will finally gain the ability to stream gameplay on Twitch.

"With Twitch streaming confirmed for release on Xbox One, a huge number of console owners are about to be introduced to game broadcasting and the Twitch community,” said Matthew DiPietro, VP of Marketing, Twitch. “More than half the households in the US have a console, and those that do have them own an average of two. This puts Twitch in a staggering number of living rooms. The Twitch experience on Xbox One is easily the most feature-complete of our console integrations, and will hopefully turn on legions of gamers to the Twitch phenomenon."

The screenshot attached shows how the interface for streaming will work, which will employ the now familiar snap feature, having Twitch chat and camera on the right side of the screen, while the gameplay will be scaled down on the left.
