If you were thinking of purchasing a Titanfall beta code from eBay because you didn't yet get an invite from Electronic Arts, don't. Despite accepting a limited number of users, Respawn Entertainment still has "lots more codes" to send out -- so there's a chance you could still get an invite. And with codes selling for nearly the price of the full game, it's probably better to just wait and hope.

Registration for Titanfall's beta for Xbox One and PC is still open, but closes today at 4:00pm PST, so act quickly. If you are selected, EA will email you directly with instructions on how to access the game no later than 11:59pm PST on February 17. Apparently, EA has sorted out the issue in which people who signed up for the PC beta were accidently receiving Xbox One codes.

Beta is already underway, offering players three modes -- Attrition, Hardpoint Domination and Last Titan Standing -- spread across the maps Fracture and Angel City. Although the beta is simply meant to "tease the game," Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella believes it's enough to show fans "the core of what the game is."
