With the release of Battlefield 4's China Rising expansion, EA has warned players that they may "run into an occasional hiccup, issue, glitch, or problem that could interrupt or prohibit gameplay." Sure enough, there appears to be some problems with the game's new expansion, and apparently these are widespread enough that EA has provided a number of statements addressing the most common issues.

Some Premium members are reportedly unable to even access the China Rising download due to a restriction for its worldwide release on December 17th. EA is "currently investigating" the issue and will provide updates as soon as possible.

On PC, some users who have installed China Rising are being kicked from servers within seconds of joining. Thankfully, DICE has identified the issue and is implementing a solution to the problem. "The fix will take some time to be fully completed," DICE says, "but players should be noticing normal gameplay behavior soon."

On Xbox 360, some users are just unable to join China Rising servers at all. Again, DICE is investigating the issue and will provide updates as they learn more.

This is just the latest in a string of issues that have plagued Battlefield 4 since launch. Even before the release of China Rising, players on all platforms have reported problems and bugs, including the game crashing on many players. DICE has been working to stabilize the game, while simultaneously fixing bugs, but it appears the problems keep mounting.

Earlier today, a game update meant to fix the "one-hit kill bug" on PS4 was delayed indefinitely.
