GZ News Update 9/24/13: Idiot tries to imitate GTA in real life, and Mario proposes to Peach?

Well, it's that time again when Sony brings down PlayStation Network for scheduled maintenance. Don't worry, it's only supposed to last six hours. Of course, as most PlayStation gamers are aware, a six hour maintenance period can sometimes turn into 24 hours (or more) of downtime.
Another day, another story of someone doing something stupid and blaming it on Grand Theft Auto 5. Today's act of stupidity comes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where an Auburn student in town for the Auburn-LSU football game stole a truck, kidnapped a woman and hit several parked cars. And he said he was trying to "see what it was really like to play the video game Grand Theft Auto," according to Cpl. Don Coppola.
Nintendo has uploaded a new screenshot presumably from the opening cinematic screen of the new Super Smash Bros. showing what looks like Mario proposing to Princess Peach.
Today's Game Releases
Today marks the release of two soccer games, FIFA 14 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 on every console imaginable. We also have Lone Survivor and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows on PSN. And for those who enjoy a little lighthearted fun with DC Comic heroes, Scribblenauts Unmasked is out today on Wii U, PC and 3DS.
