Following today's announcement that the PS4 is coming to Japan on February 22, 2014, Sony confirmed that 19 games will be available at launch.
"19 software titles developed by SCE Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) and software developers and publishers, will be released in Japan concurrently with the launch of the PS4 system," Sony said, though no specific titles were listed. In addition to these 19 games, Sony promised more than 23 titles are currently under development.
"And since PS4 has earned great support from a wide variety of game developers and publishers, including those within the independent development community, a total of more than 51 upcoming titles are expected to be released for PS4 in Japan," Sony boasted.
The PlayStation 4 will be released in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 19. Last month, Sony revealed all 33 "launch window" games for the PS4.
