Call of Duty: Ghosts pre-order at GameStop includes special discount on Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2

Video games usually have some pretty sweet pre-order incentives, but Activision today announced they are partnering with iconic rapper Eminem for the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts and The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Eminem's new The Marshall Mathers LP 2 are releasing on November 5th, so to celebrate the hype surrounding both releases, fans will get a discounted offer on the latter. In collaboration with GameStop, anyone who pre-orders Ghosts at the retailer will get a code to download a special edition of The Marshall Mathers LP 2 featuring an exclusive, bonus studio track at a special discounted price of $8.99.

"The energy and intensity of 'Survival' really matches Call of Duty: Ghosts. I'm excited to continue to be a part of the franchise." said Eminem, whose "Survival" track was featured in the game's multiplayer reveal trailer. Later this month, a music video trailer featuring the song and Ghosts' gameplay will debut.

"Call of Duty is the ultimate adrenaline rush. It's the intensity and heart-pounding excitement you feel as the action unfolds. And Eminem embodies this same spirit and captures this in his music," said Activision CMO Tim Ellis. "The breadth of this program takes our partnership to a new level and will continue to unfold in the months to come. It's going to be a massive day in entertainment with the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts and Marshall Mathers LP 2 both hitting on November 5th."

This latest offering joins the already announced GameStop pre-order bonuses, including a multiplayer map, a double XP weekend, and a character skin modeled after Simon "Ghost" Riley from Modern Warfare 2.
