New Dead Rising 3 trailer proves that game is still filled with humor

If there was one thing I took away from the Dead Rising 3 gameplay presentation at Capcom's booth at E3 this year, it's that the team behind the game opted to go a much more serious route than the previous games. For me, it wasn't that big of a deal, but many fans were sad that the series would lose out on its off-beat sense of humor. Turns out, there is still enough of that to go around.

In this latest gameplay trailer, we see Dead Rising 3's protagonist, Nick Ramos, going on all sorts of hijinks. The trailer starts out serious enough, with Nick running over zombies with a cop car and gunning them down in a SWAT uniform, but things turn silly after that.

Nick is then shown dispatching zombies as a fire-breathing bull mascot, shooting an explosive crossbow Rambo style, performing a stunt on a motorcycle in a shark costume, donning a suit of armor, and even performing some sweet Shoryuken moves a la Street Fighter.

See guys, the game can be just as kooky as its predecessors. You can look out for Dead Rising 3 on store shelves on whatever day Microsoft announces as the Xbox One release date. Seriously Microsoft?! It's only like 2 months away!
