NewsPreorder Pikmin 3 and play a day early

Nintendo is offering gamers a chance to play Pikmin 3 a day early just by preordering it — digitally, that is.
Customers who preorder the digital version of the title during a GameStop (in the U.S.) and EB Games (in Canada) event later this month can download it on their Wii U consoles on August 3, one day before the North American release date, announced Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime in a video. The event will take place on July 20 and July 21 at more than 250 stores nationwide.

Pikmin 3 gives players control of three space captains and a growing army of Pikmin creatures, which follow commands to take down monsters and solve puzzles. Nintendo also uploaded a TV commercial for the game today, which you can watch on YouTube.
