Beta registration for Project Spark now open
Microsoft has opened beta registrations for world-building game Project Spark. Revealed at E3 earlier this month, Project Spark allows you to create your own worlds and adventures, and share those creations with fellow players.
Star Wars Pinball coming to Wii U eShop July 11
If you own a Wii U, you're undoubtedly waiting for big releases to come to the console -- like Wind Waker HD, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Bros.. Until those release, though, the eShop is getting a nice little title to bolster the Wii U game library. Star Wars Pinball is coming to the Wii U eShop on July 11, so if you're a pinball or Star Wars fan, this should fill a bit of your Wii U gaming void.
'We Are Watching You Act' could change the way Xbox One works with Kinect
One of the biggest knocks against the Xbox One -- DRM policies aside -- has been the mandatory Kinect. Already bundled with the console, the Kinect 2.0 must be connected to the Xbox One for it to function; although, the camera can be "switched off" if the user wishes to do so. Still, Microsoft could hit a snag with its Kinect.
Microsoft confirms Xbox One release date is just an Amazon placeholder
The November 27th release date for the Xbox One is just a placeholder being used by Amazon, Microsoft confirmed. "We have not informed our retail partners about a specific launch date for the Xbox One," a Microsoft spokesperson told EGM.
