NewsHalo's Reclaimer Trilogy is now a saga
A Microsoft representative has confirmed that "The Reclaimer Trilogy," which would original span Halo 4-6, will now be expanded into "more of a saga."
"While we originally said trilogy, we've actually expanded this to more of a saga, so we don't want to limit the Reclaimer story within a trilogy," GameSpot was told.
During an interview with the website at E3, Microsoft Game Studios VP Phil Spencer declined to call the Xbox One Halo game -- which was teased during Microsoft's press conference -- Halo 5; instead, he referred to it as "the next Halo game that we are working on."
"We will talk more about actually the story arc in the game and how it plays out; we've got more time to talk about that," he offered. So... is it Halo 5? Is it an extension of the series? Why can't Microsoft just be up front about anything related to the Xbox One; it's always a god damn mystery with them!
In the meantime, we have Halo: Spartan Assault coming to Windows 8 devices. This game is said to take place between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, exploring the first missions of the Spartan Ops program and diving deeper in to the backstory of the Human-Covenant wars.
