NewsNew Destiny trailer teaches us the Law of the Jungle... and something about a Wolf Pack
You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But then Activision and Bungie shared the new Destiny live-action trailer with me, and my wolf pack grew by... well, you get the point. Today's new trailer, directed by Jon Favreau and starin actor Giancarlo Esposito, is designed to teach us the "Law of the Jungle."
There's a lot of fancy talk in this storytelling, so to make this simple The Law of the Jungle is basically an expression that means "every man for himself," or "surival of the fittest." Esposito goes on to tell a tale of some wolf and its wolf pack; I didn't quite follow, but I think it has something to do with strength in numbers -- a likely reference to Destiny's emphasis on a persistant multiplayer world. Or it could just be a reference to The Hangover.
Either way, we'll see more of Destiny on June 10th during Sony's PlayStation E3 Press Conference. Us GameZone wolves, running around L.A. looking for strippers and cocaine.
