Injustice among the gods at EVO 2013

The world's premiere fighting game tournament, Evolution, has announced that Injustice: Gods Among Us, will join tournament, bringing the game line-up to nine. Jory "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar made the announcement on his "Wakeup Shoryuken" podcast.

Injustice: Gods Among Us joins Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Mortal Kombat 9, Street Fighter X Tekken v2013, King of Fighters 13, Persona 4 Arena, and Super Smash Bros. Melee (the player's choice) as the fighitng games that will crown new world champions.

The top Injustice placers at the remaining Road to EVO events will get the same seeding points as finalists in the other titles. Also worth noting: interactive stage elements and transitions will be allowed.
