NewsResident Evil: Revelations on the Wii U gives Miiverse voice to the zombies
As expected, the Wii U version of Resident Evil: Revelations will offer players unique gameplay mechanics to enhance their boat exploring/zombie killing experience. Let’s face it, the SS Queen Zenobia can get tedious will all of those zombies constantly trying to eat off your face, why not spice it up a bit? Through the Miiverse, your friends can add a text bubble to certain zombies for what I assume is comedic value. For instance, in the picture below, Randy really just wants to give a kiss to Jill – he promises it won’t hurt. Personally, I think he’s being facetious. I think it will hurt a lot.
There is also an option to post messages after you die to communicate with other players who died in the same way. This could also be used to offer tips and tricks for getting past these parts. The Wii U can be played via television or on the console itself – or both. While playing on the TV you can use the pad for a mini map and for hacking. I’m digging it.
Check out the video above and bust out the Wii U on May 21st.
