NewsGuild Wars 2 content update 'The Secret of Southsun' brings new WvW features
In the newest Guild Wars 2 content patch, The Secret of Southsun, NCSoft and ArenaNet will be bringing a wealth of new content to the game. Some of that new content includes new WvW features.
Traps are being introduced in World vs. World. On each WvW map, traps can be purchased from Traps and Tricks Outfitters. A few include anti-stealth fields and traps that remove supply from enemy players, but there will be more introduced in the coming months. ArenaNet has also improved the award system for World XP to WvW players. Now, you'll get rewards for a wider range of activities -- from destroying siege weapons to repairing walls.
In addition to WvW changes, there's a new Crab Toss game. In this instanced mini-game, players score points by capturing hermit crabs and withstanding karka attacks. Also, the limit on the number of characters you can see in the Living World has been removed.
