NewsMister Sinister and Psylocke to appear in Deadpool game
Deadpool swung by the office today and revealed to us that two characters -- other than his multiple personalities -- will appear in the upcoming Activision game. Both Mister Sinister and Psylocke will be featured in the new Deadpool game, and although he didn't specify their role, it can be assumed they will act as the game's villains.
"I thought it was pretty clear when I said I wanted a true Deadpool game that it would star Deadpool...in every role!" he told us. "My star power shouldn't be limited to the central protagonist. I should be playing the hero, the anti-hero, the villain who eventually changes sides to join forces against the TRUE villain (me), the romantic interest, the quirky best friend, the comic relief, and at least 8 other characters in fat suits! Is that too much to ask?!"
There's far too many Marvel storylines for me to keep track of how all of these characters are related, but from what I gather a version of Mister Sinister appeared in the House of M reality where he fought Deadpool over an infant Cable. Does that mean Cable will also appear in the game? The duo have spent some time together in the comics.
Deadpool will be available on June 25, 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3 for $49.99. It will also be released on PC for $39.99.
