NewsFIFA 14 release date possibly leaked, Vita version spotted
Online retail giant Amazon.com might have leaked the release date for FIFA 14. A product listing for the game notes that it will be released on September 24, 2013. It's possible that this could be a placeholder, but given that FIFA 13 launched on September 25 last year, it's not inconceivable to think that Amazon's date is correct. September 24 also just so happens to be a Tuesday here in the U.S., the traditional day of game releases.
It wasn't just the release date that was leaked, though. The listing for FIFA 14 shows the already announced Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, but also adds a third platform: the PlayStation Vita. FIFA 14 is currently only confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but EA has said "additional platforms" will be revealed in the coming months. None of this should come as a surprise as FIFA 13 was also available for a plethora of platforms including the PSP, 3DS, Wii U, Wii, Vita, and PC.
