As if the initial live-action reveal trailer for The Evil Within wasn't terrifying enough, Bethesda has released a batch of screenshots. For those who missed the initial announcement, The Evil within is a new game from the father of survival horror, Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil).
"Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story weave together to create an immersive world that will bring players to the height of tension," the game's description reads. As you'll see in the accompanying screenshots, the tone of the game is one that embodies the meaning of pure survival horror -- dark rooms, lots of gore, and freaky a** monsters. Hold on to your butts!
